Lake Baykal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its magic.
No one really ever has anything bad to say about Ekaterinburg.... It's in the Mts too, so it should be pretty. And this is just me, but i really really really wanna see how the "other side" lives... you know... THE FAR EAST! i really wanna go to vladivostok, or khavborosk. Even the really big cities, on the eastern side of russia arn't "that" big. I heard vladivostok has less than a million people.
Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!
Yeah, Екатеринбург is good.Originally Posted by Dogboy182

Мы выбираем путь, идем к своей мечте,
И надо не свернуть с пути уже нигде.
И стоит шаг пройти, заносит время сле-ед,
Обратного пути у жизни просто нет.
Hmm i wonder if it would be cheaper (for me living near seattle) To just fly across the north pacific ocean, and be in Vladivostok in 9 hours, rather than flying over the USA, over the Atlantic ocean, over western europe, and finally ariving in St petersburg 18 hours later.
this actually sounds like a great idea.... But, i have never seen ticket proices to eastern russia... i have even searched, and no results came back =(

There *should* be flights from the western U.S. to Russia direct...emphasis on "should." I live in Alaska, for goodness sake, we're about 50 miles from Russia at the closest, but there are virtually no flights. The market's pretty small, they say. There are some flights on smaller airlines, but nothing much else. And they definitely aren't cheap. Bummer. At one point I checked out the possibility of flying to Seoul or maybe Tokyo and then flying from there. It didn't work out, but it might be worth checking out.
I know for a fact there used to be Vladivostok-LA flights.
Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mean, stupid, violent fat people, no jobs, nothing to do, hotter than a dog with 2 d--cks.
I just spent a month in Ekaterinburg
church of the last Czar is there.. very nice
but I have to say the best memories from the trip where from the surrounding villages.. banya, ice fishing, the ice cave (forgot it's name, but it's really famous..! )
course it helps to know a family there that can show you these things.. when I went ice fishing it started snowing, and was so beautiful with a village backdrop..plus just the countryside itself
some decent museums in the city.. I've never been to russia so the city itself was very interesting to me (how people live, get around, etc)..
thanks you guys!

I think the only way to get to The Far East from USA west coast is through Moscow or Korea now. I was there a few years back, but I'm definately happier in Moscow. The far east can be a dangerous place if you don't have friends there.
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.
