    Language Proficiency Tests Online

I got 87% on the Russian proficiency test, much better than I thought I would do, but not perfect of course )))

This site also features tests in several other languages, including English, French, Italian, Chinese and Latin - in case you would like to test your proficiency in a non-native language!

My result for French is only 78% ((((( It's still possible to analyze the mistakes made.

But I bet you would get 100% on English! In fact, this test would be too easy for you

I actually struggled with the vocabulary section in the Russian quiz. I had to guess at a lot of the meanings of the words. LOL

Damn English. Even natives can't speak it properly Russian is definitely easier
I do not claim that my opinion is absolutely true.
If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.

I got 85% on English. It says that I'm at advanced beginner level now
    Got 100% on Russian though
Ah, forgot to mention, it also says that my Russian level is intermediate

My score in Russian was 94% and my Russian Level is also intermediate. Seriously now iCake you know my level, do you thing that is even close to the 10% of your level!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT.

The test is not based on the understanding of Russian (for example I didn't even understand what the last text was saying I just noticed the position of words in the text).
People who where taught more than 4 languages in their life they can understand the structure of any language (for example I can imagine where to use noun and not adjective, where to use past rather than present tense, where to use adjective if it is femal and not male based on the ending of the noun).

The test is not explanotory and it doesn't indicate anything. Sorry guys.

Yes, English would be easy I guess. I did French vocabulary 100% (4th part), most of the mistakes were in grammar.

In Russian, my mistakes were mostly in the vocabulary section. I was surprised that I did well in grammar, because I make a lot of grammar errors when I speak or write in Russian.

I failed to figure out the gist of some text. Made a stupid mistake refering to company with their Forgot that the past tense of swim is swam and not swimmed. Also I didn't know that I have to speak like that:

Mr. Hawkins requests that someone send the data by fax immediately. I chose sends. Also I mixed up taller with tallest. That's all. Suprisingly I pulled off the part of the test that tells you to choose the best answer

    2 errors.

BTW, what is the difference between "potatoes and meat" and "meat and potatoes"? Are they not the same?

in my opinion there is no difference; i suppose they were trying to make a case of:
'potatoes with meat' or 'meat with potatoes'?
but then, that is what they should have asked

    Russian: 93%
    German: 100%
    English: 93%

@English: I didn't like the reading part - Moreover, some of the questions were not accurate. Nor were the answers.
