    40-50 years ago....

    Stillman and Harkins for-evah!

    Actually I remember trying hard to diagram sentences in English. Do you young'uns even know what sentence diagrams are, I mean, do they even teach that any more in schools??

    Anyway, taking Spanish in high school taught me a ton about grammar. Kind of like that was a warmup to tackle Russian!

    It's funny.. I learned more about sentence diagrams in my artificial intelligence computer programming class in LISP than any English class..

    Just read a few reviews, Introductory Russian Grammar is on it's way.
    I have a feeling that my Duff & Makaroff is a little outdated. Thanks

    I really haven't needed to use LISP after that class.. so I'm not very good with it anymore. I'll stick to C/C++ or Java for most applications.
