Thread: Failed to submit an avatar picture

I failed to submit an avatar picture to my profile. The server reply is below. I e-mailed the information to admin of that site and have got no reply yet.
Could anybody pick up that issue and fix?

I've got an impression that nobody looks into that problem
Is anybody aware/does anybody care about such issues?

Did you make sure your avatar was small enough?

Absolutely. I double-checked it. Actually, for the first time I made a mistake trying to upload too big picture, but the system was smart enough telling me about that. When I followed the guidelines...
I may send out my avatar if you would like to check this...

By the way, I found the like post in this forum, the server errors seem to be the same. For that time, the admin just asked to sent him the picture then applied it locally. I do not dare to ask for the same approach but may be it's worth fixing this issue "once and forever"?

It might be not that easy to identify the root cause (I develop the software for about 11 years and can guess what these errors mean), but the quality assurance is something that give the forum users more respect

The forum code was not written by us. It takes time to troubleshoot someone else's code and tweak server settings. We will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.
