I read this yesterday and would like to share. Children's talk is one of my most favorite kinds of humor.
Трехлетний Ваня упрашивает родителей за завтраком:
- Мам, ну пожалуйста, можно я не буду есть этот дависсимо?
Comments:
Даниссимо - Danissimo (we have a lot of commercials in Russia advertising it)
Давиться - to eat smth. with great difficulty and reluctance(when smth. is untasty or you are already stuffed), often with a feeling that you may vomit any moment.
Example: Я давлюсь этим супом. (used with instrumental case)
It also means to choke:
давиться от смеха (used with genitive) - to choke with laughter
You can read more of children's talk here: www.bgorod.ru/children
It's a column on this page under the name "Детский лепет".
