Send me a PM if you need me.
What are you guys up to?
We are just enjoying some porn...
Hope, you're not doing Java and open source?..
I was laughing my ass off.
And also Javatar and .not, ahaha
The scene in which the guy's trying the Red Hat on in the bathroom is the best!!!
Can you imagine that I actually found this on one of the .Net forums. )))

Yeah, the true motto should be something like "A new level of interaction. Our platform will really do the dirty things to your brain."
From this point, the guy said truth to his dad.
I wonder how tolerant his dad was to allow the adolescent play with Mac laptop. He should have suspected the wrong right from the start.
He was probably so proud of his one and only system being able to run on a MAC laptop that forgot to enable suspicion mode.
Awesome find Ramil!!!! Post some more!
I am currently forced to develop with .net (or my team does, rather) ---- makes me feel a bit sick to the stomach.
Plus the other problem is that .net programmers are so lightweight.
I don't care about the criticism against Java; it's not Microsoft and now it's open source too.
Hanna, the "not Microsoft means good" conception utterly fails.
In this forum the rule is that you have to back up statements like that. Maybe you can convince me; My tech skills are a bit rusty. I know a few good techies that I respect, who actually think .net is pretty good. But I have never bothered to find out why.
@Croc.... seriously are you a .net programmer???????
I have seriously betrayed the open source cause though, and ordered a Windows based tablet. (don't tell bitpicker) I WAS going to order a Wetab (see conversation between bitpicker and me in the German forum) but the feedback was too bad. So I am waiting for delivery of this, a Canadian-made product. 11.6" screen!!
I lived through many stages of my attitude towards Microsoft. Now I should say that its products are generally good and Visual Studio is probably the best development platform I've ever seen (no, don't even think of comparing NetBeans with it). Windows 7 is a really good operating system. MS Exchange is good and MS Office if far more advanced than Open Office. Still I think that there should be an alternative. Linux isn't qualified, at least now.

I just have to point out that it should be "A piece of IT humour ...", or better "Some IT humour...".
"I have seriously betrayed the open source cause"
Don't worry. Be happy .
When you buy something, you just buy a product. You do NOT have to support some cause with every penny you spend. Much as I hate certain aspect of the MS marketing strategy, I use their products (licensed and paid for, if anybody is interested) if and when I feel those specific products suit my needs.
"On time, on budget, to spec; pick two!"
Now do you believe me?
translationsnmru - oh you buy M$ ! I feel guilty even for pirating it..
The trouble is that I just don't have time to learn Linux properly.
But that seems to be the best product around. Robin is very pro-Linux though and on principle I agree with him.....
Ok, so if you think the .net programmers are lightweight in general based on the fact some of them are copying an entire db schema into the DataSet and marshal it remotely (just because the examples from MS show how that could be done), you forget there are others who prefer using CSLA.
Get the PCLOS. It's all there. Nothing to learn.
Still in doubt to choice between Linux and Windows?
