You have brothels in Australia. So, does that mean that it is a legal business?

    only

only in Kalgoorlie, I think theres one in Perth too. Kalgoorlie is famous for it's brothels, and the madam they talked about in that story was a guy who had a sex change. Like I said, back ass town. Thank god I'm not a local here !!!

Photos of one of the "Knock Shops" as people call it. For thouse that don't speak english as a first language, knock is slang for having sex.

Arrr, they are acutally illegal, but some how they have managed to stay open.

    hehe

I know, but what worries me that if the story that I have first hand knowlage about is accurate ...... Maybe alians really did do 9/11.

I bet they keep stealing my cat too. I was wondering why my cat some times disappears and then comes back wanting to go into my sewing machines box.

I think the flying object heard by the residents was a fighter jet. All aircraft were ordered grounded after the first two planes hit, but I read about a private aircraft pilot that saw a small plane circling the jet that crashed in PA. And the man on the phone in the bathroom stall said he saw smoke and a flash of light, and heard a noise like an explosion. Also, the debris from the plane is scattered over an 8 mile distance, which is consistent with an airplane falling apart in the air, not one that crashed into the ground because the people onboard were fighting with terrorists. Most likely the plane was shot down to prevent it from flying into the White House or wherever it was headed (which is standard procedure), but was considered too sensitive and emotional for the FAA or government to tell people at this time. I'm sure it will come out years from now.

Among ones a listed above, "Российская газета" is controlled by government. All other are more or less independent.

Oh! Especially "Московский комсомолец" is so serious!!!
I like articles like "a boy fell into the tube in the building site... a bum sawed off the hand from the body of his concubine... a cat {the name of prime minister here} was castrated yesterday ... and so on.
"Аргументы и факты" also types the crap laike this sometimes.

Even the serious newspasper must attract readers someway, isn't so?

OK, I must agree: the MK (and, probably, even AiF) are "yellowish" slightly... and that's what their readers want. But, I still call both "serious": they publish not only cr@p quoted above, but also many serious articles of political and social resonance. And both are papers the authorities need to respect (or at least can't ignore so easily).

What does "yellowish" mean? Is that like our tabloid "newspapers" (i.e. full of rubbish and "human interest" articles rather than actual news)?

I see someone doesn't like the english version of the Pravda Forum!

I can understand that, as a person who has over 2000 post there (old forum and new) i can relate to it.

But in saying that, each to there own and all that. People choose to go where they will. That is all part of freedom of speech afterall.

This place is sooooo different from Pravda. Not that i am complaining.
