Isn't the political movement, which gained enough people's support to take power in a country, full of armed men, and keep it until the foreign invasion, something more than just several criminals and terrorists?

When terrorists take over a bus, for instance, you can ask the passengers if they like their new "authorities". I bet there wouldn't be one against them. Fear and Stockholm syndrome...
