Today's Lenin's birthday and the Subbotnik

    Hello,
Today's the birthday of Great Lenin, the most humanistic human being, who lived, who's alive, who will live for all time in His Muusoleum and in our hearts. Accoring to Great Lenin's will all of us must go out for the Subbotnik (clean springing in English translation) in order to shift the country to the radiant future!

    ВСЕ НА СУББОТНИК!

After a while one could say: Христос Воскресе, Владимир Ильич!
    Я так думаю.

May his space-age enbalming be dutifully applied again!

I think you will find the expression to be "spring cleaning", not "clean sprining"

It's "Earth-Day" here, clean up the planet and think good GREEN thoughts.
I celebrated by spending $20 on gas to go collect some pesky lobsters from littering my green traps.

$20 for gas? Gas must be cheap in MA, cause here it is $3 a gallon!

Well, the Subbotinik is gone now and replaced by the Orthodox Easter. Russia is an orthodox country that worship a god from the Mausoleum along with Jesus. Judging by absence of traffic jams today, I gather the celebration went well.

20 bucks? Do you keep them in your garage or something?

I enjoy American's complaints of "high gas prices".

In the UK we pay 2-3 times as much as you. So shut up.

It's in the Consitution that we only have to pay 1/3rd as much for our "petrol" as you do. That's why we threw your tea off that boat that time and we seceded from your crummy little island.

SHhhhhhhh. Let it die with a whimper. Look at the bright side: at least he didn't say "four fathers."
