Personally, I don't give a sh.t about any social network. I can't imagine why people are so obsessed with them. I call it 'online exhibitionism'. If VK, FB or any other network suddenly disappears tomorrow I wouldn't even notice. I enjoy my relative anonymity and prefer it stays this way.
Back to the topic: Durov's démarche is not about the freedom of speech. It's about his failure to comply to the shareholders' expectations.
