     Correct is: WHILE people like you exist, THE probability of war remains, indeed. I'm not a grammarian, but I think the rule is that the subordinative conjunction 'until' is only used to introduce a temporal clause when the main clause expresses a negation; for example, : I will 
not let you watch television,
 until you have finished your homework. 'As long as' or 'while' can be used with or without a negation in the main clause. 
More natural: While people like you exist, truly, the probability of war remains.
