I hate russian state TV but ukrainian TV just wins the prize.
Lol, can you get TV from Belarus or Kazakhstan?

I agree, I saw some TOTALLY awful shows on Russian TV. It seemed quite similar to US TV.
People shouting and being totally vulgar, then commercial breaks all the time. It was impossible to watch. Would never waste my time on that. Thank goodness for good old state TV. I don't care about the (sometimes) boring content, at least they are behaving like civilised human beings and not monkeys at a zoo. And no darn ads!

Russia 24 is allright as a news channel quality-wise. I only understand about 50% of what they say though.
However, they have a HEAVY agenda for Ukraine - not that I understand the finer shades of what's being said, but it's obvious that they make no effort at all to see both sides of the story. I.e. same as European and American, just from the opposite angle! Not fair on those who have no access to alternative news sources.

Euronews is a channel that has actually tried to be as un-biased as you can, while being funded by the EU. At least they are not like commercial news channels. It might be worth checking out. It has no ads and has audiofeeds in different languages - including Russian.
