    Re: Barack Hussein Obama wins

Guns have nothing to do with self-defense.
It's about the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. The American people has a constitutional right to overthrow their government by force. Technically, they can go revolt at any moment - they have this right. To enforce that right people were granted the right to "keep and bear arms". This principle lies in the very core of the American state. I doubt there is a 'legal force' that would have the ability (and desire) to amend that. As far I can tell, this is virtually impossible considering the American legal system.

You are right, of course but....
Don't count on it! Obama has said long ago said that he believes that citizens should not have guns for any reason at all! (Though he lies publically, that he supports hunting) He is the most anti-2nd Amendment president the US has ever seen and is choosing an anti-2nd Amendment cabinet also. This guy Obama is a "Manchurian Candidate".

    This will be Obama's utopia.

Obama voted 4 times against bills allowing self defence in your home!
Go to this PDF file to read what Pearson, who has served in the Illinois State Capitol for 15 years, says about Obama.

    Re: Barack Hussein Obama wins

I am absolutely flabbergasted by what some have written here. Clearly, some people just cannot stand the thought of someone who is smart, charismatic, well-mannered in his approaches and well-refined in his speeches but just so happened to be half-black, becoming the leader of the free world, so a smear tactic is often deployed. Newsflash, people, stop digging up dirt on someone. What if he had Jeremiah Wright or Jesse Jackson supporting him? The far-right in the US, including the openly racist Ann Coulter, supported Bush, yet no one seem to use that argument against him.

Bush also had tons of Muslim (Saudi) millionaire friends, that doesn't make him any less suspicious. People can befriend whomever they want. The US is a free, capitalist country, a few shady business deals here and there is nothing out of the norm.

And really, a communist? I mean, just what the hell? He's a democrat, sure, he might support some social programs that might appear "socialist" in their nature, yeah, I agree, but to tarnish the man as a communist is loathsome. And the arguments used to support that are weak ("his mother-in-laws half brother was called this, which in commie lingo means this and that, which goes to prove that he is a commie"). Here's another thing to add to your smear campaign: his parents met in a Russian language class, THIS IS THE UNDENIABLE PROOF THAT HE IS A COMMUNIST.
"С чий очи сънувам, чий е този лик обречен?
Смъртен глас ми се причува и отеква с вик далечен
Как да зърна да погледна, чуждий образ да прегърна,
на лицето ми студено грях в надежда да превърна.."

    Re: Barack Hussein Obama wins

I watched some talk show some time ago and they were talking about who was going to be the new American president (it had not yet been decided that time). And since it was a Russian TV-show they were talking about how either candidate's policy will affect Russia. And you know what? Even considering the fact that there were two sides in the discussion and one was supporting Obama and the other one was supporting McCain they all agreed upon the only fact that no matter who would win the elections the Russian-American relations would going to turn to worse in either case.
And personally I don't see any difference between the two.

You are exactly right my friend! Obama will have little change on foreign policy and Russia.

The change that Obama will bring is his brand of "social change" which will have vast implications for Americans.

Obama has a socialist/marxists roots and has on record stated (in a radio interview in 2001, WBEZ-FM ) that the US Constitution was flawed because it provided nothing about the "redistribution of wealth" and that it should be changed to accommodate today's opinions .......And that it does not tell us "what the government will DO FOR Americans" As though in USA, the land of "rugged individualism" the government is supposed to do stuff for people.
    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=79225

Obama has appointed the same old type of politicians to foreign affairs positions but has appointed very radical people to the lower political positions having to do with social affairs.

On top of all this he has hired three law firms to prevent himself from having to prove he was even born in the USA and eligible to run for president.

...and Bush invaded Iraq under false pretexts...

DDT, you sound very bitter and quite desperate to sitck some dirt to Obama. If you want to use decade old remarks to characterize a person, why don't you look a little into Bush's drunken youth?

I honestly don't see why the Russian-American should detoriate much in either outcome. Yeah, McCain might have sounded bombastic, but it really was all sound-bytes to convince the American public of his national security abilites. Yes, the US-RU relations can get worse (let's hope not), but I think it would be even worse if the current administration kept power. I guess it all hinges on the missile defence, let's hope they cancel it!

One does not have to be desperate or look very hard to find the dirt on Obama. And I doubt that you have been interested enough to notice.

Again, please tell me why you feel the need to refer to Bush when Obama is being attacked.

    Re: Barack Hussein Obama wins

You ask why? I just feel that it is quite the double standard to defend Bush for all his fallacies and then attack his successor for things that, compared with Bush, are mere trivialieties! That's all! I mean, if the worst thing you can find is that 7 years ago he said the constitution is flawed, and the illogical conclusion is that he therefore must be a communist, then it doesn't lend your case much creedence, my friend! Furhtermore, it is important to compare to Bush, because for any fault you find with his successor, we can find 10 for Bush and the point is that our next president is going to be an improvement over the existing one.

If Obama was really as bad as you indicate, why doesn't the right-leaning media (FOX, especially) make a big deal out of it? I'll tell you why: there is little but dubious circumstantial evidence and a whole bunch of conjectures and conspiracy theories. That's not journalism, even by FOX standards.

Take my avuncular advice, let's judge people by their actions, not their words. It's fine to be pessimistic or optimistic on the future, but let's keep our heads cool until something happens, alright? :"":

Well Klinky ol Boy you have made a serious blunder here. I have not even mentioned Bush or defended him. I never even would have voted for Bush. I am simply talking about Obama here.

And the right wing including FOX has been talking about these same things and more. It has been BIG news in Conservative circles. (Though there some issues that they have not touched on such as Obama's true country of birth) But it is the Left Wing news sources that have refused to pick up on any of these stories and been completely and admittedly, in some cases, biased towards Obama. So much so, that Don Feder, journalist and editorial contributor for the Boston Herald, has even started a website devoted to boycotting the New York Times.

In short, I am not even going to debate Bush policies on this thread. If Bush policies are your only answer to my attacks on Obama then I can only assume that you are not fully aware of what Obama's background is and have probably not bothered to read any links I may have posted or even done any real investigation on your own. Preferring instead to rely on your same old left leaning Obama supporting news sources rather than taking an in depth look at what others are saying.

Take my avuncular advice, let's judge people by their actions, not their words.
You mean his actions like going to Kenya to support and rally for Odinga his "cousin", in opposing the incumbent Kenyan president. Odinga ran on the platform of bringing in Sharia law in kenya for his Muslim supporters, who promtly killed 1500 people after Odinga told them to protest his losing the election. That showed good judgment by Obama, didn't it? Or preference to hiring law firms to avoid having to show Americans his original birth certificate? Rather strange, to say the least!

Or the good judgment he showed in outlaying the entire election campaign of the Illinois Governor who has just been arrested for corruption. Yeah, good one Obama! And he is not even president yet!

Or the fact that Obama got into the Illinois senate buy getting his Demcratic opponents (all 3 of them) knocked off the ballot on technicalities and dirty politics so he could run unopposed?

I haven't even started but I gotta go do something else right now.

    Re: Barack Hussein Obama wins

    Natural Born Citizen Liar

Obama already caught lying about his contact with Blagojevich. When asked what contact he'd had with the governor's office about his replacement in the Senate, President-elect Obama today said "I had no contact with the governor or his office and so we were not, I was not aware of what was happening."

On November 23, Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said on Fox News that Obama had indeed spoken with Gov. Blagojevich about his successor:

"I know he has talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them." (video)

Obama is caught lying so he throws his campaign strategist, Axelrod, who was Blagojevich's campaign manager, under the bus, lying by saying Axelrod "misspoke" -- LOL!

And, here's a second source backing up the allegation that Obama is lying through his teeth. On Wednesday, November 05, 2008, KHQA, Channel 7, produced this report:

Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.

That's one of Obama's first priorities today.

He's meeting with Governor Rod Blagojevich this afternoon in Chicago to discuss it.

Illinois law states that the governor chooses that replacement.

There's already been speculation about his selection...from Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. of Chicago's south side who co-chaired Obama's presidential campaign, to recently-retired state senate president Emil Jones, to the governor himself.

And, a third source, after the meeting -- "Obama met with Governor Rod Blagojevich earlier this week to discuss it."

Update: Oh, wait! KHQA TV, after the two previous stories above, now says the meeting never happened? I just love our "independent press" -- LOL! KHQA feedback

And another source -- the venerable(?) Chicago Tribune: "I just don't want to jinx him and I don't like the karma of me thinking that far ahead," Blagojevich said of Obama's prospects in Tuesday's election. The governor added, "We have had some discussions about a process which we'll share ... if all goes well."

Everybody around this liar is a communist, terrorist, American-hater or a crook and the Obamalytes want us to believe this guy has terrific judgment. If they're correct, then if follows Obama, himself, is one or more of the above. You are known by your friends and associates, and Obama's are unbelievable.

Emil Jones incidently, is the guy who gave Obama his boost into Illinois State Senate.
Obama knew of Jones and decided to go and meet him hoping for help to become a senator. He walked up to Jones and said, "I heard you make senators." Jones replied with, "Do you know anyone I could make a senator?" To which Obama said, 'Me." That began their political relationship. Obama is not only a politician but a conniving one. Putin gave us Medvedev and now The Media has given us Obama.
    Yo, Baby!

Sorry about the Bush-smoocher sticky I gave you, it was thoughtless accusations! I assumed you must were coming from the Republican hole, like so many other doomsayers, but you're anti-establishment, right? You'd vote for no Republican or Democrat, because they are entirely alike?

Anyway, a little neutral research can clear up most of the conspiracy theories, and not taking line, hook and sink, offered from right-wing blogs. If I had copius amounts of time on my hands, I would love to find every detail of someone's life, but I have a wife, a house, a job, a baby on its way and I really care about what is happening now and how people are today. What if Obama had a teacher in his youth that was a communist? WHO CARES! And IF Obama is indeed a closet communist [conspiracy #234], shouldn't that IMPROVE relations with Russia? There might be little communism left over there, but nostalgy is arife! GromoZeka seems to already like him! [

American born? The answer seems to be yes:

With the 'copius amounts of time on my hands" I found that factcheck is not much more than an arm of the Obama campaign. Obama was Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg. Annenberg owns Fackcheck.

incidentally, the birth certificate that Obama produced is not valid for many occasions because it is just a simple registration of birth. Anyone can register a birth under Hawaiian state law. His real "long form" birth certificate has much more information on it; such as hospital and doctors name etc. (Why has Obama hired a team of lawyers to prevent the release of his long form birth certificate, instead of just producing it?)
Here's what a real long form looks like alongside the certifcate Obama produced:
    http://dyn.politico.com/members/forums/ ... id=1605059

Hawaii Issues Birth Certificates to Foreign Born Residents!
Heres Hawaii saying it like it is.
    http://hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/ ... index.html
    C. Hawaiian law expressly provides for registration of out-of-state births under HRS 338-17.8. A foreign birth presumably would have been recorded by the American consular of the country of birth, and presumably that would be reflected on the Hawaiian birth certificate.
    http://hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/ ... birth.html

    EDIT:
One would think that the hospital where Obama was born would be eager to make that claim to the world, but so far Private Detectives hired by World News Daily can not find records of an Obama birth in ANY hospital in Hawaii.

    Re: Barack Hussein Obama wins

    Sorry, .....I fixed it!

In Obama's book, Dreams From My Father, he writes about his childhood friend and mentor, Frank. Well it turns out that the FBI has a 600 page file on "Frank" covering 19 years of "Frank's" Communists and subversive activities in the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA.

Frank Marshall Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several Communist front organizations.
The CPUSA had tens of thousands of members, some of them covert agents who had penetrated the U.S. government. It received secret subsidies from the old Soviet Union.
    Anyone see a pattern here?
