According to multitran there is no разговорить, only разговориться, which means to get into a conversation.

разговорить кого-либо is close to "make smb talk profusely" =) esp. when he/she is shy. you know, break the ice and so on =)

You made a typo. The correct spelling is "разговаривать"

    to persuade = уговаривать/уговорить

I believe it is imperfective, in which case you if you conjugate it you will get the present tense.

    уговаривать means "persuade"
уговаривать - уговаривать; - уговорить (кого-л.) persuade; talk; ( склонять, побуждать ) induce; ( настойчиво ) urge; try to persuade не уговаривайте меня — don't try to persuade me

I (native American) think you would be better to just say поговорю с ним об этом. I'll have a talk with him about this.

Я поговорю с ним об этом, но я уверен он захочет опять поработать этим летом.

I think that net surfer's made a mistake.....

Я поговорю с ним об этом, но я уверен, (что) он захочет, чтобы ты опять поработал этим летом.

I guess that net surfer misread the English sentence
