    Prefixed verbs of motion

I did a serach but can't find much info on prefixed verbs of motion. My classes are only in Russian and I don't understand all the prefixed verbs of motion. Can someone go through and translate them if this hasn't been done before?

    Things like

    подехать
    доехать

    ...etc.

Or if you have a link that would be appreciated.

Ехать – to move yourself by means of a carrier (car, bus horse etc.).

Доехать – to reach a place, to arrive.
ПодЪехать – (don't forget the hard sign) to approach to a place or a thing (for a short distance).

They are very much. General approximation rule is to take contextually equivalent english verb (for example "drive" for "ехать") and then take an English preposition equivalent to Russian preix and you will get the idea.

    объехать - to drive around
въехать - to drive in (also "to understand" in slang )
заехать - to drive in (also "to strike" in vernacular)
переехать - to drive over (also to change a home)
подъехать - to approach (to drive about?)
    приехать - to arrive
доехать - to reach (to drive to?)
отъехать - to depart (also "to become unconscious" in slang) (to drive from?)
уехать - to leave (to drive out?)
    ...

Also remember that in the case of <prefix>ехать verb there is always a verb <prefix>езжать. Difference between former and latter verbs are usually and roughly like the difference between perfect tenses and indefinite/continuous tenses.
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

    Вы совсем забыли про "съехать/съезжать"
"С чий очи сънувам, чий е този лик обречен?
Смъртен глас ми се причува и отеква с вик далечен
Как да зърна да погледна, чуждий образ да прегърна,
на лицето ми студено грях в надежда да превърна.."

    Re: Prefixed verbs of motion

If you are in M or SP you should be able to find some small books on verbs of motion. I found a couple when I was in Moscow. Get a grammar or reference book that will tell you about verbal prefixes and their meanings. Otherwise, find yourself a backwards dictionary and look up -ехать to find all the prefixes used with it, for example.
