    колебается

In an exercise I see the following phrase:
    "Курс
доллара в обменных пунктах, правда, чуть снизился, и колебается в центре города от 3700 до 4000 рублей за доллар".
But колеб/áться н.в. I see in Морфологический анализ conjugated as: колéбл/юсь, -ешься and not колебá/юсь etc.
However, I find in the net used widely this second form. I don't see any c.в. that could produce a different pattern for this verb.
I suppose that both forms are accepted. Isn't it? Thank you.

The only correct version is "колеблется". The usage of the other form shows the lack of grammar knowledge.

I don't know what Russian Grammar as a science has to say about it, but I would much prefer "колеблется" in that sentence, and I prefer this form generally as well.

(Пока я отвлекалась, всё уже разрешилось).
Я думаю, что колеблется было бы правильно. Колебается, мне кажется, слишком разговорно. "Колебается в центре города" вообще что-то смешное.
В прошедшем же времени будет только колебалось, колебалась, колебался, колебались.

This usage shows a tendency in Russian language to replace nonproductive paradigmas of verbal conjugation by a productive one (like делать). В 19 веке люди говорили "ичет", "глочет" вместо "икает", "глотает".

OK. This shows a "generous" tendency. Usually more used are some verbs, more irregular they are, to make them easier to pronounce. Here the people tries to make a less regular verb (in the mesure one case say that of Russian verbs) more "regular". In any case, "it's a long way to Tipperary ". Thank you.

It's an irregular verb. According to the general pattern its 3rd person should be "колебётся", but for some reason it is "колеблется".
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

    More abt it

As far as I understand here the only "irregularity" present is the accent of 1st. p. sing. not being at the end.
    Let's me explain.
колебáться I if its stem is
    1) колеба- (as резать) then would be колеблý, -ёшь, -ёт ; or moving the accent from the 2nd person: колéблешь, ...
    2) колебай- (as делать) then would be колебай-у, колебá/ю, -ешь, -ет
So being, as it is, the stem колеба- the only "irregularity" that I see is колéблy instead of колеблý.

Тогда было бы "колебУ", "колебёшь" и т. д.

л is inserted in 1 p. sing. in the second conjugation, and in a few verbs of the fist conjugation in all the forms if the ending is unstressed (cыпать-сыплет). However many prople say сыпит now.
There is another tendency, found in the vernacular Russian. Verbs loose changings of г, к into ж, ч in the Present tense. For example, some people say стигёт (от стричь) instead of стижёт, пекёт (от печь) instead of печёт.

    A typo, I suppose...
Налево пойдёшь - коня потеряешь, направо пойдёшь - сам голову сложишь.
    Прямой путь не предлагать!
