    "На сцене рыночной экономики выступает значительное количество действующих лиц".
    Znaiu chto vystupat' znachit:
    1. overflow
    2. vystupat' s rech'iu = make a speech.
    V etom sluchae kak perevoditsya?
    Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.

    (говорить публично) speak, make statements
    ..........
    "Невозможно передать смысл иностранной фразы, не разрушив при этом её первоначальную структуру."

    (the context is that they support pro-Russian forces there)

    the first example would be literally translated: "many players perform on the stage of the market economy"

    the second one would be "residents of Perm Krai speak out for (in support of) Crimea" выступать за/против is a common way of talking about making public statements/demonstrations for or against something or someone
