    Note. Переспать is the right verb for oversleeping. But be careful with it: "переспать с кем-то" has another meaning: "to have sex with someone".

    Right, that's why I wasn't intending to use it in my initial post.

    спать / уснуть / заснуть / проснуться / переспать
