    3. Я могу тебе дать это, но что ты дашь мне {за это|взамен}?

My long search was ended with a simple question in the Masterrusian forum ...

    "в ответ " can be used instead/in addition to "за это|в обмен|взамен":
    ......
А на прощанье лидеру их племени,
    Чтоб родины поднять авторитет,
    Торжественно вручил я бюстик Ленина,
    А он мне — банку „Гиннесса“ в ответ.

    ......

Бескорыстный человек seems to be a good substitution for Альтруист.
Also, when you give something to someone and don't expect anything in return, you give it 'без-воз-мезд-но' (то есть, даром)

Sort of more than you can chew ever wanted:

    1. An altruist is a person who gives without expecting anything in return.
    2. I will help you for free. I don't want anything in return.
    3. I can give you this but what will you will give me in return?
    4. The president voted in favor of the decree and in return he received a positive vote for his new reform plan in the Parliament.
P.S. No offence meant. It's just my geeky-pickiness speaking out loud.
Another month ends. All targets met. All systems working. All customers satisfied. All staff eagerly enthusiastic. All pigs fed and ready to fly.
