    Question

My friend said to me that you have mastered Russian if you can say, "зузик", "козел', "щенок" and a few select curse words that I'd rather not write.... but she always says "зузик" when referring to cute animals.... what does "зузик" mean?

I hear it (and read it) for the first time in my life. It might be her own talk or maybe some regional one.

ADD: Search engines show some people having surname Зузик and nothing more.
