It think like "We are having fun, we'll see where it goes, maybe it'll turn into a long term thing, maybe it won't last".
It comes from the expression "to take it a day at a time".
Ramil, neither your explanations or variants are right.

It means they are taking their relationship one day at a time. Ie, they are not planning far into what they are going to do in the future. They are just seeing how it goes, then they might or might not break up. It's got nothing to do with sex.
What he said.
I suggest "Постепенно развивающиеся отношения" - gradually developing relationship
Well, there is no set phrase for this kind of relationship in Russian, so the translation will have to be descriptive and it will depend on the context.
Maybe phrases like "Не гнать лошадей". "Давай поживём и посмотрим, что у нас получится" will work in certain contexts.
If a girl told me that she'd like a one-day-at-a-time relationship, my reading would be that she is not interested. It's a euphemism for "what car do you drive?". Or maybe it's just me.
Тогда "ни к чему не обязывающие отношения"
It's just you.Quote:

Thank u all...
Странно, что ты не заметил, что в данном случае слово "неуместный" может сочетаться только со словом "вопрос". :lol:Quote:

"Cиюминутные отношения" means something like "very short and unimportant relationship".
