    old locative case

    i'm trying to draw a short list of words that still use the old locative case, like in:
    v shkafu, na uglu...

    can people help me find the basic words that use it?
    since i discovered this old construction, i'm using it all the time (to boast on my language skills, hehe) but quite often, i do it wrong because i really have no idea what words to employ it with.

    here are the first words i know so far

    shkaf
    ugla
    krai

    угол - на углу, в углу
    свет (light) - на свету, в свету
    род - на роду (написано), but в роде
    год - в году
    рот - на рту, во рту
    пот - в поту
    бок - в боку, на боку

    there are tens of such words...I dunno

    Aren't they all, or most of them stressed on the У?

    This is handy for me since nearly all of these do the same in Ukrainian. I think it shows how far back these examples go, since they they obviously originate before Ukrainian and Russian split.


    Ліс - У/В лєсу
    Ніс - У/В носу
    etc.

    (В and У are interchangeable to aid pronunciation.)
