    A lot of time to revise my skill in telling numbers correctly:
    По плану «А» стоимость страховки лежит в пределах 170 - 310 евро = .... в пределах ста семидесяти до трехсот десяти евро
    Correct? In compound numbers change both components?
    Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.

    Compound numbers are correct. Minor correction:
    "в пределах от ста семидесяти до трехсот десяти евро"
