    Most Common Verbs

Allright! I swear this Russian stuff is going to kill me, but this time I have a plan HAAHAAHAA (LOL to all of you who think I'm insane now). I would like to make a list of the fifty most common verbs in Russian and memorize it. What are some of the verbs that you out there isn the cyber-world think I should know. Please be so kind as to give me both infinitives and the "I" and/or "you (informal)" present tense of the infinitives.
    Git 'er done!

Get yourself Nicholas J. Brown's Russian Learner's Dictionary. It has the 15,000 most commonly used words arranged by frequency of use.

You should get the book "501 Russian Verbs" by Thomas R., Jr. Beyer
. It is all the most common verbs fully conjugated in all the tenses. Includes participles and stuff like that. Very useful!

To the person asking the question. Have you been here? http://masterrussian.com/blverbs.shtml

On the master page of the site in the "articles" section under Verbs and through a link at the bottom of that.

I would start with verbs of motion
идтй = to go (usually on foot, imperfective, one direction)
I have also seen it used with rain/snow, what is playing at the theatre, etc.

Go to this link and type in идтй to get all forms and many examples.

it's atrociously expensive for what it is.
the link i'm giving you is better even if it doesn't include some pretty common verbs. but this and a good dictionary should help a lot:

remember to learn the basic patterns first (verbs into 4 categories...).

The "Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs" is a lot cheaper, you can usually find it for under $10 at Amazon, and has 550 verbs fully conjugated. I have both this one and "501 verbs...." and they are both very good, this one is just a lot cheaper...
