Thread: Isolate

Does anyone know the correct term for "isolate" in the sense of isolating a valve in a pipeline for the purpose of repairing the valve (e.g. by closing shut-off valves on both sides of the valve)? Perhaps "отключить"?

May be there is some special secret plumber's word for it, but you can certainly say "отключить", or even "изолировать".
