If Alex Trebec wanted to increase his ratings...

Time for yet another completely random, unimportant question:

In the US/Canada (I assume) there is a popular TV gameshow that quizzes contestants called "Jeopardy." The style is like so:
-The host (Alex Trebec) provides the contestants with an "answer" to a question. For example "This city is home of the Kremlin and capital of Russia."
-The contestants must then give the correct "question" -- "What is Moscow?"
So my question is this; assuming you wanted to translate the question part of the game, how would you do so? "Что это такая Москва?" "Что такая Москва?" "Какая Москва?"
Заранее благодарю всех за исправление ошибок в моём русском.

Исходя из ответа, вопрос должен звучать так: какой это город?

    Что такое Москва?

the neutral form "что такое" is applied to all inanimated nouns, regardless of grammatical gender

And if it was animate, would it then be, for example: Кто такой Том Сруйз?

    Yep.

You tried the name too hard! In English your russification of the name will sound like Tom Shittings, or like.

    Том Круз is correct.

Том Круз probably is a ****! I assume you meant it sounds like х*й a bit?

Thank you both for your responses.

Oh, I wanted to write the word, but ther's a filter. You wrote the name which can be understood as the "person who sh*ts (all the time)".

    Not necessary, just any.

No, it's not an old person. It can generally refer to every age group.

I don't generally seek out curse words, but I've never heard this one and now I HAVE to know. Can some one type it -- with just a space between one of the letters so the filter doesn't get it? I'm sorry for vulgar curiosity...

Take "й" out of the word you initially wrote and replace "з" with "н" and you got it.
