I think you'd typically use надо, должен, or обязательно. E.G.:
Не могу разговаривать -- мне надо заниматься.
And I think that what you said is both grammatically incorrect and not what you want to say (something like "I cannot speak. There's no time for me, why that, there is to study at me.")
Other things to keep in mind:
-you should use никогда if you're not coupling it with an infinitive verb
-you should use потому, что
-you can't say "I have <a verb>" Would you say in English, "I possess a to eat?"
