Привет, форумы. So in Russia I know that there's a gender system for all nouns. All consonants including й are masculine, а and я are feminine, and о and е are neuter. The thing is though, that doesn't cover all the letters in the Cyrillic alphabet. What do you do for the rest of the letters? What gender are they? I'll give an example sentence:
"Шон дарит цветы Наоми." ("Sean gives flowers to Naomi")
Because Naomi is the indirect object in this sentence, her name should be altered, but there's no rule for it because it doesn't fit under a gender. So my question is, what are you supposed to do in this situation? (I know it's a big question, so I don't mind if you just answer it for the sentence I gave)
