    A few words

These are the words I am trying to learn for today.
If I made any mistakes, can someone please correct them.
    Thanks in advance.

    вдвоем - together
    спать/поспать - to sleep
    оставаться/остаться - to remain/to stay
    скучать/соскучиться - to miss/to long for
    образ - image
черта - feature (of a face)
    неповторимый - unique
    спустя - after
    вспоминать/вспомнить - to remember
    целовать/поцеловать - to kiss
    тоска - depression

I fall into a depression when we are not together

I miss the image of your face.

I remember the unique features of your eyes.

I kiss you but you remain far away

I could not fit спустя in any of the above sentences.
If someone can give an example of this word, I would appreciate it.

"впадаю в тоску" but still it sounds unnatural in this sentence.
    Examples with тоска:
- It's so boring here
у него тоска на сердце- his heart is heavy (an example from lingvo)
I'd say "тоска" is mostly poetic and isn't used much unless it means boredom. The verb "тосковать" derived from it is more common and means "to miss" or "to be bored".
I miss the image of your face.

I remember the unique features of your eyes.
I will remember
I kiss you but you remain far away
Still I would rephrase the whole sentence a little:
I could not fit спустя in any of the above sentences.
If someone can give an example of this word, I would appreciate it.
10 years later they met again
- In five minutes (five minutes later) I was already in the yard.
- Even after all those years he still remembers that.
"Happy new year, happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend"

I suppose that "тоска" is not a very important word so I will not spend too much time memorizing it.
I got these words from a song, that is why the words are poetic.

Are the other words fairly common?

Yes, they are. "Образ" is often poetic too.
