    Extra lessons

    How would you say 'extra lessons' or 'evening classes' in Russian? As in "does your son go to evening classes after school"?

    It depends. Might be: (1) группа продлённого дня (for primary schoolchildren); (2) факультативы (optional subjects); (3) кружки (different activities beyond school curriculum); etc.
