So diff between прожить and жить is?

Проживать = live somewhere (for some time)
Прожить = live a period of time (Он прожил 80 лет)

+ нажива = profit, gain

There is also "прожевать" with completely different meaning and the same pronunciation. BTW, "жевать" is exists and pronounced alike nonexistent "живать".
