    I want to say "I won't have time to dabble with Russian in the future"

    Would that be...

    I think баловаться (чем-то / с чем-то) will fit, given that dabble = take part in an activity but not very seriously, if it is what you are trying to say.

    У меня скоро не будет времени баловаться русским языком.
