Almost done with this chapter. I'm trying to discuss the difficulties in learning Russian. Are these sentences correct grammatically and/or do they make sense?

Я не понимаю даже не одного слова. I'm not sure if слово should be in the genitive or accusative.
Я изучал по себе до сих пор. I want to say, "Up to now, I've been studying on my own."
Может быть мне нужны будут ещё два года, прежде чем, что смогу говорить хорошо.
Мой словарный запас очень мало/ограничен/славый. Are any of the adjectives ok?
