    CD player

I know there are three ways of spelling the word Cd player in Russian that are considered correct, and I was just wondering which one do you use, and which is the most common one?

IMHO, it`s a "Си-Ди плэйер". Or may be "проигрыватель Компакт-дисков" or "проигрыватель КД-ПЗУ"

The other two words simply show how the word плеер is pronounced

Well, the right pronunciation is плэер.

Some people say it like плеер with soft л, but it sounds unnatural and cr@ppy.
And плэйер/плейер is too hard to pronounce because it sounds like 2 words плэй-ер and certainly sounds cr@ppy :)

I forgot to say that I meant that those words show how they're pronounced for native speakers.
I don't like it either when people pronounce words like детектив, плеер they way you mentioned .
