    Body Part Words

    Я хотел бы узнать, почему слова, которые называют части тела нерегулярнее, чем другие слова?
    У большинства этих слов нерегулярное произношение, например: рука, зуб, губа, грудь, мозг, бедро, глаз, ребро и т.д.
    Есть причина?

    (ps is it correct to say слова для частей тела)

    Хммм... А что такого нерегулярного в их произношении?

    "Слова для частей тела" - лучше сказать "названия частей тела"

    They are no more irregular than many other Russian words.

    And probably because most of them are two-syllable words which increases the possibility of noticing this kind of floating stress.
