Thread: Help translating a word

I just got a letter in the mail from a friend in Russia. I'm in the process of translating it, but there is one word so far that I can't figure out. It's наврятле. The whole sentence is "Мы с тобой летом наврятле увидимся." I think she says that she won't be able to see me this summer when I travel to her city. Is that right?

You are correct. The наврятле is
не вряд ли
and means "unlikely".

The whole phrase is

не вряд ли увидимся
not likely we'll see each other.

I'm afraid, "не вряд ли" has no sense and doesn't exist. It's "навряд ли" (that's more colloqial version of "вряд ли").

The translation is ok, though.
