    Words not in my dictionary

Any native speakers have explanations for these?
Any notes on the level of appropriateness?

these are obscene and slang vocabulary

охуеть - 1) to freak out 2) to act brash
    охуевать - охуеть in imperfective

пипец - phonetic euphemism of obscene пиздец
    пиздец - something extremely intolerable

    заебись - excellent, fucking great

    ништяк same as заебись

лажа - 1) failure 2) a bad state of affairs

    офигенный - rad

рупь - a distorted pronunciation of рубль

    отпадно - great

    obscene are:

    охуеть
    охуевать
    заебись

oh didn't take a gander at the links, so they pretty much explain all these, i guess my interpretation is redundant

ништяк is from narco vocabulary, means "high" after taking drugs, may be used figuratively.

    пиздец - obscene, literally, vagina-like
пипец - less obscene, but literally, penis.
охуеть - obscene, literally, become penis-like

офигеть - to become like a fig sign http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fig_sign , mildly obscene.

    Only отпадно is not obscene.

for the sake of illustration it's worthwhile to mention that on TV you can hear all of these not bleeped, except for the obscene ones which i listed

пипец isn't officially a decent word, but in young people's informal speech it can appear on TV

My Russian classmate keeps telling me a similar word "тарчищь", from listening to it phonetically that's how I'd spell it. I was never able to find it in dictionaries and when I tell this word to another russian friend she tells me she doesn't know it or I misheard.

in slang торчать is to do drugs or be high off drugs

figuratively it means to be excited, to enjoy, but it's an old slang

it's not in any way connected to ништяк which presumably originates from German or Yiddish nicht schlecht - not bad

Or from the meaning of nirvana - that is "state of no emotion and desires", "nothing-state".

    That's incorrect
Ништяк comes from criminal jargon that has many "Jewish" words in it
Ништяк(от ивр. נשתק ништак - мы успокоимся) - здорово, отлично.

the source is Русская "феня", говорящая на идиш

as Hebrew it doesn't sound cause there's no such word as נשתק - nishtak, there's נשתוק - nishtok meaning we will go silent, we will stop talking, so could be Yiddish

OMG, such a lot of dirty words in one place.
"охуеть" has perfect analog - "фалломорфировать".
