What's the Russian word for largest or biggest? Can't find the word in my Lingvo dictionary. Thanks.

largest in Lingvo

It can be наибольший or самый большой or even something else. Depending on the context.

самый большой
самое большое и да, наибольшая, наибольший, наибольшее.

Is there an equivalent of:
big, bigger, biggest
large, larger, largest?

большой - больший - наибольший (самый большой)
крупный - более крупный - крупнейший (самый крупный, наикрупнейший)

also you can use the word величайший as the largest, the biggest

Thanks for the Lingvo online site. Didn't know there was one. Have been using the PC version all this while. I guess the online one is more up to date.
