    Verbs

    Can someone help with these verbs, with the imperfective and perfective tenses of each verb infinitive.

    to collect, to visit, to listen to, to hear, to draw, to do crafts, to swim, to dance, to hike, to walk, to do

    How do you say, I'm doing my homework.

    What about these...
    In the spring, summer, autumn, winter...
    В весне, в лете, в осене, в зиме

    After school...
    После школы

    I play football.
    Я играю в карты.

    I don't know these translations...
    I am going to my friend's house.
    I am at my friend's house.

    Adjectives...
    Short (height), Long (height), hard (durability), soft, fat, thin/skinny, big (size), light (weight), heavy

    to visit - идти, ходить к кому-нибудь
    to listen to - слушать, послушать
    to hear - слышать, услышать
    to draw - to draw...a card? a picture? a bucket of water?
    to do crafts
    to swim - плавать, плыть или купаться, выкупаться
    to dance - танцевать, потанцевать
    to hike - идти, ходить в поход
    to walk - as in strolling or just going by foot?
    to do - делать, сделать

    Sounds to me like someone needs to get a dictionary or a 501 Russian Verbs or something....

    I'm doing my homework.
    Я делаю домашнее задание.
    Я занимаюсь уроками.

    in the spring - весной
    in the summer - летом
    in the autumn - осеню
    in the winter - зимой

    I play football.
    Я играю в футболь.

    I am going to my friend's house.
    Я иду к другу.

    I am at my friend's house.
    Я у друга.

    I think....wait for confirmation on those last two, they sound funny (or maybe just wrong).

    Adjectives...look in a dictionary.

    Im bored, i'll translate them for you.


    Short (height), Nizko
    Long (height), Dliniy
    hard (durability),Tvyordniy, Kruto
    soft- Myakiy
    fat - Tolstiy
    thin-Tonkiy
    skinny- probly the same
    big (size) Bolshoy (ever heard of Bolshoy theatre? )
    light (weight) - Legko
    heavy- tvyordniy

    to draw (i think you mean pictures) -Risovat' - Narisovat'

    Myi rissyem rasnasvetniyi kartinki - we are drawing multicolered pictures.
    Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!

    They are absolutely correct and natural. You can say as well:
    Я иду к другу домой. or
    Я иду к другу в гости.

    Я дома у друга. or
    Я в гостях у друга.

    But in most cases it's unnecessary to add "домой", "в гости" etc.

    to collect - собирать (imprf.) - собрать (perf.)
    to visit - посещать - посетить
    to listen to - слушать - послушать
    to hear - слышать - услышать
    to draw - рисовать - нарисовать
    to swim - плыть (плавать) - проплыть (проплавать)
    to dance - танцевать - потанцевать
    to do - делать - сделать

    How do you say, I'm doing my homework.
    Я делаю домашнее задание

    Весной, летом, осенью, зимой

    After school...
    После школы
    Correct!

    I play football.
    Я играю в карты.
    I play football = Я играю в футбол
    I play cards = Я играю в карты

    I am at my friend's house.
    if you mean going on foot then:
    Я иду к другу (домой).
    Я у друга (дома).

    Short (height), Long (height), hard (durability), soft, fat, thin/skinny, big (size), light (weight), heavy
    Short (height) - низкий, невысокий
    Long (height) - длинный
    hard (durability) - жёсткий(tough, rigid), твердый (solid)
    soft - мягкий
    fat - толстый
    thin/skinny - худой
    big (size) - большой
    light (weight) - лёгкий
    heavy - тяжёлый
    Люди с годами не меняются, они просто все больше становятся самими собой.
