Is it only me that finds "выпустить" sounds weird? I'd say слить.Quote:

I am guessing here but . . .Quote:

в твоему голове doesn't make sense when you throw it AT your head. And it wouldn't be твой голова, правильно будет "твоя". Thanks though. :)
Oops. Sorry.
I messed that up real badly. голова is feminine. Arg.
I was thinking that мяч is the direct object and should be in accusative case; and твоей голове is the indirect object and should be in dative case.
I checked my grammer book and it says "в" is never followed by dative case.
Maybe this is better.
Я бросила мяч твоей голове.
I threw the ball to your head.
It's still wrong, as Evgeniya explained. For movement towards an object, you use the accusative.
So your saying it should be
Я бросила мяч в твою голову.
?
Most likely, but Evgeniya's variant sounds better. Oftentimes where you would say "my leg" or "your arm" Russian leaves out the possessive determinant and inserts the dative form of the personal pronoun, like in German.
Я бросила мяч тебе в голову vs Я бросила мяч в твою голову - the 1st sentence sounds better, the 2nd sounds to me like Zhenya threw a ball into a standing apart head. :) But both sentences are possible.
Он нечаянно попал ему мячом в голову (по голове).
Он случайно ударил его мячом по голове.

Besides I don't think that "попал" or "ударил" are proper translations of "throw".
