    translation software or service?

I posted an excerpt from a letter that i am hoping someone will help translate. I use Promt professional to translate for now and it doesn't translate some of the meaning in letters. Is there a better software package that can better translate?

Also, does anyone know of a translation service, or individuals that would work to translate letters both into and out of english/russian? I have a website in development for which I would like to offer translation services so if there is anyone who wants to make some extra income, please contact me.

    thanks!

AFAIK Promt is considered to be the best Russian/English translating software. I've also heard about the tool named Socrat Professional. But I can't say which one is better 'cause I've used neither of them (and am not going to)
I would be grateful if you would correct my mistakes, since I would like my English to sound as natural as possible.

Why don't you do a Google? There are plenty to choose from.

    hmmm google?

now there's an idea. duh. my thought of course was that someone here would have an idea of the better software as opposed to marketing hype. Also, I am expecting that there may just be people here that aren't on "google" that may can provide the services requested.

Well if you post the letter here, and providing it isn't enormous, we would attempt to translate it for you. It won't be 100%, but it would be free.

I never used Prompt but a quick test will reveal how good it is.

If it translates "I like him" into "Я люблю его", then it is cr@p.
