    Translation help, please :)

    How would you translate this into Russian:

    "I just wanted to give you something in hopes of making you smile! I'm glad we're friends, and I hope you have a good night!"

    Doesn't "I hope you have a good night" mean the same as "good night/спокойной ночи" which is said to someone who is going to sleep?
