    One-word translation

Could someone plese so kind as to help?!

How would I phonetically say the word "nothing" in Russian?

The context is this: A person feels nothing. No emotions, etc.

    Thanks so much.

    Wow! Dimitri, you are amazing.

Just one more question: Your pronunciation in the .wav file indeed sounds like:

    neecheevoh.

Does that mean "I feel nothing" ?

Is there a word just for the single word "nothing." Like nada in Spanish.

Please forgive me ignornance of the language I find so intriguing.

    Leof,

    Is nichevo a rare word?

Does it mean to you "nothing" or "anything"

Is there another word for nothing. Context: There is nothing inside?

    JK, Leof's kidding.
nichego is the most common word for nothing. You can use it almost everywhere, just like nothing in English.
    Anything is что-нибудь chto-neebood', что-то chto-to.

ничто and ничего are the same word "nothing" in nominative and genitive cases.
And genitive case can be used everywhere, I think. The nominative ничто can be replased by ничего.

I meant just that every word means something, and there is hard to find any word meaning nothing :P

and ничто is more senseful or personificated (I am wavering about the second word though) meaning of ничего.
Ничто means something closer to the Emptiness or literally No thing - nonmaterial or zero(and is often used successfully in poetics, religion and phylosophy).

It is used in common phrases not so often as usual ничего.

    And you're always welcome!
    Я так думаю.
