how do u say how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

I doubt that any russian will understand this, i've known about this phraze my wholel life and didnt even get it untill i was like 17.

First of all, I like woodchucks. They are cool

Second, a woodchuck could chuck no amount of wood since a woodchuck can't chuck wood. But if a woodchuck could chuck and would chuck some amount of wood, what amount of wood would a woodchuck chuck? *

Third, if you are looking for a translation then the Russian translation will be as follows:

Сколько бы дерева смог сгрызть сурок, если бы умел грызть деревья.

or shorter -> Сколько бы дерева смог сгрызть сурок, если умел бы это делать.
