Do not translate word for word. If you want, try these sentences:

    I have a dog
    The dog is tired
    The boy is at school
    The girl is at home
Vrei să pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei
    Mi-amintesc de ochii tai

    у собаке есть устость

    малчик в школу

    девочка в дом

except for the second one, i am fairly confident about these....

Good There are a few mistakes though. First I will start from your answers:
у меня есть собака- this is correct

у собаке есть устость- say "собака устала". This sentence your wrote doesn't make sense

малчик в школу- almost right, but it's "в школе". If he was GOING to school..."мальчик идёт в школу"

    девочка в дом- Девочка ДОМА

These were very good. I apologise if I am not helping and only confusing you more.
Vrei să pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei
    Mi-amintesc de ochii tai

No, its helping quite a bit actually. The problem i find i am having is that in ancient greek the dative preforms the same functions as russian prepositional and instrumental, so sometimes i think i get my wires crossed.

I know, I think i was trying to be as bit to clever for myself there

You'd better remember Latin Accusativus (-> Rus. Acc.) and Locativus (-> Russ. Prep).
