    Or

Ухаживай за храмом (Ухаживайте за храмом)

if your phrase is in the imperative and not infinitive. It's a good idea to provide context and explain what you mean clearly.

Ukhazhivay za khramom (Ukhazhivayte za khramom)
Please correct my mistakes if you can, especially article usage.

I believe it would be infinitive. I mean to continuously maintain it. And it would be masculine.

Well then I'd recommend to use:
    Присматривай за храмом.
(in the meaning of to look after the temple).
But that implies that this process is rather passive, which means that he just have to look whether everything is allright with the temple and not to excercise serious efforts in the process of "mantaining".

Then Wowik already answered your question. In the infinitive it doesn't matter if it's masculine, feminine, or neuter.

Why? Do you know what is the infinitive?

А может, он вообще имеет в виду "пожертвуйте на нужды храма"?

    Smith,
is it financial maintenance that you mean?
or do you ask to keep it clean?
