Please help me to understand this sentence

Any ideas how I would translate this sentence?

но — существуя, чувствуя и осознавая себя существующим — существующим как живое создание, а не манекен в мире манекенов.

    Thank you!

It doesn't look like a complete sentence.

Here is the full sentence: Но это все тоже было неважно — я был готов с удовольствием ходить по улице
имени Маркса&Спенсера, но — существуя, чувствуя и осознавая себя существующим — существующим как
живое создание, а не манекен в мире манекенов.

But all that wasn't important - I was ready to walk with pleasure on the Marks&Spencer street, but only - having existed, feeling and apperceiving myself to be existing, existing as a live being, but not as a dummy in the world of dummies.
Another month ends. All targets met. All systems working. All customers satisfied. All staff eagerly enthusiastic. All pigs fed and ready to fly.

Thanks, I had something similar to this but to me it doesn't mean a whole lot in English - is there another way of putting it maybe?

This is what I had : but while existing, feeling and conscious that I was existing, existing like a living being, and not a mannequin in a world of mannequins.

The phrase is very cloudy in Russian, too. That's about some psychological problems and their decisions that the author has, like not to be as everyone, but to stand out somehow etc.

But all that wasn't important either; I was gladly willing to walk the Marks@Spenser street, but only if /on condition that I would exist, feel and be aware of my own existence - existence as a living being and not as a mannequin in a mannequin world.
The Russian text doesn't actually say "only if" in so many words, but it is implied. Russian деепричастные обороты sometimes carry an implication of condition.
