    Pimsleur's "things or things"

Using Pimsleur Russian studies - how does one say the word "Things"?? I cannot find the way that Pimsleur expresses the word "thing, or things" in my dictionary, or books. The tapes sound like "сего”, but my books say "вещи", I am confused............ Please translate: "Yesterday I (masc.) bought many things". Thank you........

много сего means a lot of stuff, rather than things. it implies useless or non important things. you can also say он сказал много сего and it has the same meaning

Maybe in the following paragraph it has a meaning, otherwise I wouldnt use it

It sounds way too archaic, it's like addressing a person with "thou"
I've got a TV, and I'm not afraid to use it

Maybe it's "всего" not "сего" that you hear on your tape

Yesterday I bought a car, a couple of cottages and a lot more things of the kind
Life is great and so are you

yeah, I also think it's "много всего"
    "Всё" here means "all [things]"
