Do you mean they were learning to shoot from Anti-tank guns with live ammo? Or were they just running with them in full equipment of anti-tank troops? Or there were some complex battle excercises?
They are experienced soldiers that they were using their existing knowledge on targets (i.e. fake tanks).
"Солдаты провели учебные стрельбы с использованием противотанковых ружей с боевыми патронами."
Something like that.
