yes!
the differense is a matter of the stressed letter:
трусы - plural for coward - cowards
трусы - pants, only plural. I believe there is a link with word trausers. Lots of Russian words have the same roots with English German and French - as Latin branch and Greek words.
замок - castle, fortress
замок - lock
The last two words have very similar meaning - fortress like stone or wooden or earth mounded 'lock' or ring - that why both words are same in writting.
